We started seeing all these chrysalises outside so we tried to find a caterpillar and see if it would transform for us, and these were the amazing results...
An actual BUTTERFLY!!!

Wow, what a pretty butterfly,
that is so cool. my kids would love that. how do get one w/out killing it in the process?
Try to find one that's already eating something and take a little of that into the jar with it, put holes in the lid, and give it a little water, oh and something to hang its cocoon off of like a stick. If you can't find one never its food source, look it up on the internet and find what it eats. Our was pretty easy, but we mighta just got lucky.
