I just found out some REALLY Awesome sites!!!
One of them is "Knockoffwood"
This is sooo cool because the owner of the blog is a sassy lady who has made it her mission to make quality furniture in an easy and affordable manner. First of she gives us the plans for free! She also tries not to use any specialty tools so that anybody could make these pieces!
I've always wanted wall to wall good quality wooden furniture but could never afford it! But now I can and I will also have the pride of knowing that I made it myself! This are the kind of heirloom pieces that you can pass down to your children. How many people can say that about their furniture any more?
Another cool blog is "younghouselove" Right now they are having a give away of a Jig Saw. They are a couple who bought house and are sharing their adventures in fixing it up! It is very inspiring!
Well thanks for stopping by! And feel free to let me know what your favorite sites are! I'm always on the look out for inspiration.

Asking for Help
This is an on going struggle for me. It is so funny to me that I am 30 something years old and I am just now learning things about myself. I blame homeschooling for this. I guess I was just in denial before? Who knows.
Any ways, asking for help is extremely hard for me! I guess I'm afraid that people will tell me "No", or that they will think that I can't handle things.
But I've noticed that when I do ask, I have been blessed with the help that I need. Gives new meaning to the scriptures, "Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:" Matt. 7:7 and D.C. 4:7.
So why is it so hard to ask for help? If anyone were to come up to you for help, you would give it if you could, right? Well than what is the difference?
A friend of mine once said that by not asking I am robbing others the blessings of saying yes. Never thought of it like that before!!!
Heavenly Father, I know that we are not meant to journey on this Earth alone, so please help me to put my pride aside and ask for help when I need it.

WHAT THE HECK WAS THAT?
MAKE SURE YOU TURN THE SOUND UP TO GET THE FULL EFFECT!!! This is what we heard last night as we got out of the car! It flew right over our heads and scared the crap out of us!!! Don't you just love the woods! By the way I didn't record this. It just sounds exactly like what we heard. It was such a creepy sound that I searched it on the internet. And this is what I found. It's Halloween come early :-)

Exploring Creation by Jeannie Fulbright
I am still very new to homeschooling but I feel very blessed to have been lead to some very wonderful resources.
Apologia Sciences have been one of those blessings.
For those of you who don't know what "Exploring Creation" is, it is a series of science books that tell us of the why's and how's of science through the eyes of one who is appreciative of all that has been created for us. I love Jeannie's unique"Creation" approach to the sciences!
Jeannie Fulbright has an amazing gift for writing about Heavenly Father's creations in such an easy to understand and yet enticing manner. She is not preachy or pushy about any specific religious affiliations, which makes it easy to feel her love for God.It is so refreshing to have science explained through the awe and wonder of all our Heavenly Father has created for us.
We are enjoying studying about astronomy with Jeannie right now. And it has been a wonderful experience. We can't wait to study the rest of the series.
If you'd like to learn more about her products go to http://apologia.securesites.net/store/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=1
